Ginger Miller, CMT
Your Therapist
Ginger Miller will customize your massage session to fit your needs, incorporating relaxation and therapeutic techniques. She also utilizes heat in the session in the form of a few hot stones and/or hot steam packs. Your session is about YOU and she will do her best to make you comfortable.
Ginger uses products during the massage that are organic or primarily natural. Our skin is the largest organ of our body, and so much of what we put on it, in the forms of lotions and makeup and other things, gets absorbed directly into our blood stream. It completely bypasses filters in our body such as our liver. Knowing this, she's searched for the best products she can find that contain little or no synthetic chemicals to use during your massage therapy session.
Ginger is Wisconsin State Licensed (3347-046) and Nationally Certified with NCBTMB. She's a 2004 graduate from Lakeside School of Massage Therapy in Milwaukee, and has had continuing education in Hot Stone Therapy, Treating Headaches and Migraines with Massage, Aromatherapy Massage, and Muscle Release Technique SM
Your Massage Session
Please arrive at least 10 minutes early for your first massage session to fill out a health history form. You will discuss with the Therapist if there are any areas of your body that you want focused on during the massage, and what type of massage you would like. The therapist then leave the room for a few minutes while you disrobe to your comfort level and get on the massage table, covering up with the top sheet and blanket (also known as a "drape"). Before entering the room, she will knock to make sure that you are on the table and that you are properly covered. The therapist will then ask if you are comfortable, and then she will wash her hands, and then will begin the massage.
Subsequent massages begin with a few complimentary minutes of consultation before the massage begins.
